From the last 3 years this train is being run as Special train between Kurnool City and Vijayawada as Kurnool - Kakinada Special Express, Kurnool - Vijayawada special express and now as Kurnool city - Machilipatnam special express.
I hope Railways recognize the importance of this train and make this as a regular train with better timings.

Earlier they have proposed CCT raichur in one of the meetings but was turned down by RB As this spl is currently running it will find place in proposals from SCR. So now it's upto Kurnool MP to meet RB Rly Min and make it approved or give instructions to SCR zonal office to run as spls with available ICF rakes
