Can some one tell me difference between wap and wam locos in detail?
WAP's are the modification of WAM's. There are difference in horse power, torque, braking n body modifications.

WAP= Wide AC electrified Passenger - hauled only Passenger Trains.
WAM= Wide AC electrified Mixed/Multiple- hauled Passenger & Goods train both.
