Earlier halt was given at BWN. But due to constant hooliganism of daily passengers boarding the train from BWN to HWH and vice-versa the stop was removed. Daily passengers used to constantly harass passengers in the reserved non-ac coaches.
Halt was revoked in the year of 1984 because of regular nuisance caused by BWN based daily passengers. 36830/ 36835 (Super) was introduced as a compensation. And to be honest, even after so many years the BWN based DPs are still the same arrogant and rude. Just travel in 36830 on any weekday and you will understand how justified was that halt removal decision. 😁
