Why irctc not doing away with destination address filling in the booking portal. There was minimal tracing on the basis of this data even when second wave was on peak, forget it now. Just wasting public's precious time and cris database storage space...

Maybe you're also right.
I've also thought the same but sometimes lives are more important than 2 mins of time. Let it be for a while on a safer side just whenever we need to trace the contacts. Moreover this thriller movie apparently hasn't concluded yet.
