I do not get you, Sir. You can very well do the entire MAS-NZM stretch by GR, The Mighty, or The Legend, or even the Raj/Duronto. Why you want to alight @ BPL? I can vouch for the above trains, you can enjoy the thrill of speed with these above trains themselves and will get a wholesome travel experience with long hauls. But if you really want to do the 12001, then as Optimus said you can book separate tickets.

Then you have to take one of the worst train Andaman Exp from MAS to BPL and then The King from BPL to NDLS. you will have sufficient buffer.
