It got DL from Wadi as usual but developed technical issues at Shahabad so EL took charge and ran till SUR & then DL till Daund...It shall continue with Piggy backing of DL between WADI-DD for the time being.

You can see here it lost 2 hrs journey time between WADI-Shahabad but almost covered 90 mins by the time it reached Pune & was RT to Mumbai.

Oh ok. But isn't loco change possible at SUR now? Why do they need to run diesel loco till Wadi? Diesel is now needed only between KWV - SUR right?

WADI-DD stretch Electrification is not yet cleared officially possibly around 40-50 Kms still to be completed so they might be waiting for it to then clear for regular runs..

I see that 12627 KK express now already has traction change at SUR. Hopefully Udyan too will have change at SUR very soon !
