DONTs of DOORPLATING in running train.... (My personal experience)

1. Do not do doorplating while train is speeding at more then 50 kmph. At high speeds the train may give left-right swing and the sudden impact of the door can throw you out.
2. Avoid doorplating while its raining. Your hand may slip off from the handle bar.
3.
...
Avoid doorplating if the floor is wet or water-logged.
4. Avoid leaning out to take best possible shots. Rather let your hand with the cam lean out and take the shots.
5. Take utmost caution of OHE poles and Signal poles. While letting your hand lean out, you may get hit.
6. Also take care while any train is incoming on the other line. The thrust may pull you out.
7. Use HD mobile cameras instead of bulky handycams.
8. Always use neck/wrist strap for mobiles. Tie it to your neck or wrist as per convenience.
