Do train superintendents still travel in trains? If so, do they travel in all category of trains, where to locate them (designated coach/berth no.), and for what purpose can passengers approach them?

All trains does not have Superintendent. I think VIP trains have Superintendent. He is captain of the train and can be approached for any grievance during the journey.
