First express train with Electric Locomotive in newly Electrified Madurai - Manamadurai section of Southern Railways Madurai Division. 16734 Okha - Rameswaram Express with mega offlink JHANSI WAP4 electric loco with Big P4 fonts on its sides skipping Madurai East station (Madurai Suburban) on a sunny afternoon.
Okha to Dhone Diesel locomotive. Dhone to Manamadurai Electric loco and from Manamadurai to Rameswaram Diesel loco. Previously the loco change point was at Dindigul junction. From today it is shifted to Manamadurai Junction. Do watch and enjoy the show.
