The 18047/48 SHM VSG Amaravati express is a nostalgic train as it was running then between BZA VSG on daily basis prior to gauge conversion. The frequency was increased from biweekly to quadruply infact it should be converted to daily. It should be speeded up between the newly doubled GTL TNGT section and also converted into SF by reducing unnecessary stops. The existing departure timings from VSG must be changed to 9 a.m.
