but food from stations.... i dont think its better than pantry
Unreliable quality food offered from enroute station refreshment rooms.
Such 'catering' available in almost every long distance train in IR.

Food from stations(kitchens) is loaded into PC at various and warmed before serving. If there is no PC, the food is loaded at many places.
So, there is hardly any benefits for rathers and the disadvantages rule the roost.

please mention few long distance SF trains without pantry and catering available
Many trains leaving HWH dont have PC's although their journey is for than 24 hours.
