The Ghaghra Rail Bridge in Turtipar is getting a major upgrade as part of the double line project between Varanasi and Gorakhpur section. A new 1.08 km long double line bridge connecting Ballia & Deoria is in the works and it's gonna cost over ₹325Cr. It's expected to be ready by March 2024. The old bridge, which is currently single line, is more than a century old. The construction is being handled by SP Singla Construction Pvt Ltd. Stay tuned for more updates!
