Let us assume one day this duronto had started late at SC JN due to some technical reasons and arrived much early to VSKP by rigorously overtaking all the trains in its way.

That over take was bcoz godavari was running late on that day but not due duronto running early(ahead of scehdule).
If that is the case then even Garib Rath over took godavari express one day(as there was a fake bomb theart in godavari express so the train halted for 2-3 hours, in the mean while GR crossed godavari.
Duronto has a real potential to cover SC-VSKP in 8.5 to 9 hrs!!!!!(Hope it makes it one day...)
