Nowadays a Neutral Section can be handled without lowering down the panto. Those days are gone as technology as new locos and even older ones are retrofitted or enabled by software to manage power from the cab. They just turn off the circuit breaker of the loco from the cab, so no power is received from the panto. This process is now being widely adopted as it's much easier and safer to use in Neutral Zones.

mavli bari sadri route.. photos nahi liye... 2-3 din me udhar jana hoga tab photos lunga...
Then average speed of the route will fall drastically because of 2 neutral zones in marwar jodhpur section (b/w rohat-luni, b/w salawas-basni). This is really bad....no benefit of electrification then.
Speed is not decreased when passing through a neutral zone. It was a process in the old times but now it can cruised through at max speed. No average speed is impacted.
