Loco Change happens at Igatpuri and Mangalore until the remainder of Konkan gets electrified.
Ernakulam to Mangalore : ELOCO
Mangalore to Igatpuri : DLOCO
Igatpuri to Hazrat Nizamuddin : ELOCO
Although they could use piggyback system but i suspect it's not feasible

But Igatpuri is not an halt for this train. They can change loco at panvel
Panvel doesn't have facility to change loco, Igatpuri is a technical halt where bankers are attached, also they keep some locos in siding for these type of situations only 🙂
