personally i feel TEN doesnt deserves to ve more number of trains originating/destinating at Tirunelveli itself..It should go beyond that.i.e.,to NCJ/cape.

just for name sake dont need an intercity with limited number of stoppages..Intercity in the case the train should run full from origin to destination..but there is no travellers who will travel from tpj to ten.Coz TEn is not an imp destination as it is not a major tourist spot or highly revenue giving zone..

even in this budget two trains from Mumbai to Tirunelveli..dono y IR giving two trains to same destination..One is chalukya extended tri-weekly to ten and another is DADAR-TEN SF exp via konkan..Instead one train should ve been given to delta region or to tuticorin which have no connectivity to mumbai..

I dont agree with you on this. TEN is the main source of passengers for Nellai, KK, Anatapuri & Chedur. Its not easy to tget tickets in nellai & KK even during non peak seasons.
There are numerous buses between TEN & MDU.
The train just needs ample time for people to get accustomed to the train timings. Thanks.

agree with u sir..in any chennai bound trains we cant get ticket..but now im saying about trains to different destination except chennai..
