The only triweekly between Indore and Howrah Shipra runs packed all round the year. There have been consistent demands regarding a daily connection between the two cities. This while bridging the gap also connects Indore with Singrauli and Jharkhand.

Yes, Route is upgrading rapidly, But due to freights the trains are slow. Katni to Bargawan is 100 kmph fit and Renukut to Garhwa road also 100kmph fit. Just SGRL-BXLL-RNQ is slow and recently travelled in sgrl to cpu section in sgrl patna express, Train was touching 90 mps here on new tracks .

Trains are now covering around 80 km in an hour here. Days will soon change of this section at least in terms of slow speed.
