Yes, that would be a deserving route. But it is too circuitous for any south bound Raj to take... Maybe a Madgaon Rajdhani if introduced can take that route...
TVC Rajdhani used to run Via JHS, BPL, NGP, BZA, MAS, ED, ERS route.
TVC Rajdhani was earlier used to run till Chennai as Chennai Rajdhani. It was then extended to TVC and one more Rajdhani was introduced later to Chennai.

Yes, until MAS Raj came, TVC Raj ran via MAS.
