On February 28th 2022, I made a train journey from Chamarajapuram (CMJ) in Mysuru to Chamarajanagar (CMNR) and returned back, for many reasons... To enjoy the beautiful diesel actions, which only few days are remaining, also to check the status of Railway Electrification (RE) works of Mysuru - Chamarajanagar railway line.

(TPTY) Chamarajanagar (CMNR) Express

The onward journey (16220), I couldn't take the complete journey video, but the return journey (16219) I made it. The locomotive for both the onward and return journey was EMD KJM WDP-4D #40486. Honestly speaking, the EMD gave a very good show !! Constantly accelerating at higher notches and riding at a speed of 70-80 kmph, creating dust storms at railway gates and other places. I will be sharing the YouTube video link of the Return journey here...

Also this video includes some spotting form the train like Kabini River Basin, CONCOR's upcoming MMTH near Kadakola (still U/C), Mysuru Airport view from the train and some popular areas of Mysuru.
