Now with whole section Chennai/Bangalore/Hyd-Mumbai totally electrified.... all trains will start running with elocos end to end.... So.. more locos will be required at Kalyan, RPM and even LGD, KJM as well.
I guess that is the reason for this transfer. Not sure though..

Count Erode as well. This doesnt have anything to do with the electrification of the CR sections. If thats the case, all the locos should have gone to KYN/AQ. Moreover, many trains are already getting eloco end to end. Its just that diesel topup method will stop. The reason must be specifically related to Gonda DLS in particular.
