why not rail mistry allow gen. public enjoy duranto type trains pan-india ??

No new Duronto trains have been introduced in the recent past. Instead of launching Durontos, I'm sure IR will create some or the other new segment of trains with some new name and then launch trains under that name only.
Just like Shatabdis, Rajdhanis and Garib Raths are being replaced with Tejas, Tejas Rajdhanis and Humsafars. Eventually it's just politics, the current govt wants its legacy to live on, instead of Momta Didi's Duronto concept. Like, I know she sucks and also introduced weird trains like Yuva, but Duronto was probably the...
