IRP 5 blog postsI travelled last week in this train. Though catering service has been restored. But its not upto the mark. Food quantity has been decreased whether its rice, dal or sabzi. No tomato soup and bread sticks with butter served in any class. No egg curry for any class. The try in which the food is served itself has become very small in size, so one can imagine the decrease in food quantity to the pre-covid time. Evening snacks also is very limited to mini samosa, sohan padi, mixture and tea. So again there is item reduction in evening snacks also compared to previous. No improve in taste or quality of food served though there is sharp increase in catering charges in both side travel. Right now no bed roll facilty in service but will soon start. This post was mainly to highlight how railways have increase the catering charges in Patna...

No there is no curtain system in any coaches in patna rajdhani. Instead there are roller blinds, which I feel is not much of use. Because majority of people don't use. I think people dont know how to use them. Or it is not of much use. Since curtains are more practical to use. And also provide royal look to the interiors.
