land acquisition process for new Manmad bypass line commenced by CR. This will decongest busy Manmad jn. and will allow to introduce new trains via Manmad from Aurangabad as well as Daund side. bypass will be mainly built for freight traffic.
Two bypasses will be built. on from Ankai towards Nashik and another from Panewadi to Ankai.

3rd bypass, Nagarsol-Yeola for Shirdi will be built by SCR under Ankai-Aurangabad doubling project.
Any news on akola-dhone railway doubling approval? Current MoSR from Maharashtra is not giving enough importance it seems
AFAIK, FLS of Ak-DHN doubling is still under process. no update after that. as far as MOS Rly who is from our region is concerned, we think and wish that it would have been better if he hadn't made rly minister.

But this mentions only about loco shed design. So tenders for loco shed may take time
