Ahmedabad end the day before i.e. 19/9/12 but still there was a celebration at Mumbai Central end too.
There was a small exhibition on platform 5 showing pics of how rolling stock/carriages have developed from past era to the present modern day era. Also some pamphlets were distributed showing timetable of train and features of DD coaches.
The train will surely help to the ever rising demand of India's most busiest business region of Mumbai-Surat-Vadodara-Ahmedabad route.
