Iss naam change ke chakkar mein junction to gayab hi ho gaya. IR ko iske liye bhi batana padega kya board mein junction to likh le. Itna important junction hai yeh route ka. Name mein Jhansi add kar diya Chalo der aaye lekin durust aaye.
It's just political ballgames. The common passenger wants the easiest name and Jhansi Jn fitted that. Why they added that long prefix I do not know. Same goes for Gomoh. Netaji was already well known enough that you don't need to name a railway station after him.
In either case, all it leads to it more confusion for the last mile passenger. Keep it short and simple.
