It's nice to hear that you liked Varanasi city, since that is my birth place. In fact, I was there about a month back to experience all that has changed, since I last visited in 2008. Quite impressive!

Interesting! I can relate to what you have said because I am a bona fide Banarasi, having been born there, lived there for 7 years (albiet many years back) and visited many times. Sab jagah ki apni apni khubiyaan hain aur jis jagah koi bas jaata hai wohi use bhaata hai aur sukh pahuchaata hai. In that sense, I have a unique blend of the North and South in me, since my naani's side ancestors were based in Banaras (and Rajasthan) and my mom's dad moved from the deep South. Hence, I have a deep appreciation for and understanding of the diversity that India is all about.
Bhubaneswar ka ab jaakar redevelopment ho rha hai, it will take time but will become the best soon...
