My plan was to board Konkan Kanya and stay at my home in Mumbai undisturbed for 5 days with my family... (with just 2 leaves, I was getting 5 day holiday in a line). I had accordingly booked my tickets in advance. On being allotted SU 64 in S1 coach, I had again booked a ticket, only to get a upper berth in S 10.. Later I got my S1 ticket cancelled. Littele did I know, fate had other plans for me...

With so many specials in Konkan for Ganpati season, Konkan Kanya arrived around 15 mins late. It was hauled by mighty huncho WDP 4B # 40018 of KJM shed... It was an awesome 24 coacher wid an xtra SL coach... The reason for delay arrival was late running 12051 JNS which wound its way to MAO around 17.00 hours trailing behind a Madgaon bound Ganpati special...
