can anyone provide some info about Aunrihar Jun.(ARJ). i.e. how many platforms, facilities for passengers, food availability etc.

I think you are confused with Bhatni Jn.
Lichavi & Godan still do have reversal there (Godaan while routing towards Chappra)!! Interestingly, earlier there wasnt straight line from Bhatni to GKP & train has to take reversal for the same, while train towards Siwan/CPR use to move without reversal. This with time & inclusion of more train towards GKP lead to abandonment of curvy but straight line towards CPR (which IR is planning to reinstate) & creation of straight track towards GKP!!

It might be possible coz memory got weaker, bhatni has reversal for cpr bound train coming from bsb-mau route, Got u sir now, thanks for fresh up that section :D
but i still rem. one train coming from somewhere i think mau route and heading towards ballia side, so loco reversal happen that day on ARJ. Correct me if i am wrong. thanks
If any such train would have run, maybe in MG era, then Reversal is a must @ ARJ!!
