Would have surely CNFed if upgradations took place.
Current avl ex DLI: 1A = 1, 2A = 3, 3A = 15, 2S = 198.

For being on safer side, should i book from Delhi Sarai Rohilla and change boarding point to New Delhi?

The actual rush for this train is between Delhi - Kathgodam - Delhi. So berth multiplexing would take place only between Jaisalmer - Delhi - Jaisalmer.
However coming to quota allotment, DLI being a major station normally gets quite good allotment (and also due to being former source/destination point for this train before its extension). Booking from JP which gets a less allotment than Delhi wouldn't have been wise I feel. Will have to observe some more PNRs originating from Jaipur, Jaisalmer & then come to a conclusion.
