Specifically for SER. Why are the revised arrival timings of 12664/12666/12840 so odd at HWH? Any reason behind these revisions?

There is no necessity to change the timings of Trichy HWH as the slot is free even now it can arrive HWH at 300 and travellers can wait for sometime for transport availability in early hours when other trains arrive after 400. For HWH mail the timings cannot be avoided as it has to occupy PF at Chennai for long hours till 2345 which is a peak hour.
Another thing, for RSA between 12839/12840/12841/12842, are the rakes not shunting to the shed? 12841 arrival at MAS is 16:50, 12840 departure from MAS is 19/:00, 130 minutes of gap only.
In 2008 I had boarded 12840 from MAS, rake was already there at the platform since the evening, then departure from MAS was 23:35 hours
It used to be on the PF for 6 hrs then now SR wanted to vacate the PF so changed to 1915. Rake will not be shifted to stabling line.
Then how is the maintenance done? Seems a bit of mismanagement.
