SR is reported to have said it is ready to repair Rameshwaram and Dhanushkodi rail link destroyed in 1964. Even though this line restored and people start settling down again there it still has the threat of cyclone and tsunami. Govts here and center must find a way to save this town from such disasters in the future.
Dhanushkodi can't be remade as its always 5 feet under water now.
Better they should focus or find solution to connect India to Sri Lanka
