Seems like AC 3 Tier Economy coaches will be introduced in 12617/18 Mangala Lakshadweep express w.e.f. June 1st from ERS for 12617 and June 4th from NZM for 12618. Source: irctc.co.in

Yes between MAO and NZM the fare difference is barely ₹100 between 3A and 3E. Between ERS and NZM it's only ₹85 🤣This 3E class is a total cash grab it seems. May as well have introduced an A3 or HA1 coach instead, if they were so bent on increasing AC coaches.
