Passengers are demanding addition of 1 PC, 2 nos 3A, 2 nos 3E & 5 nos SL coaches as this train is the fastest between HWH & ERS/Kochi & vice versa.

not decided. I have twittered SER about this & they said no decision yet. SER Passenger Forum proposed addition of 1 PC, 2 nos 3A, 2 nos 3E & 5 nos SL coaches as this train is the fastest between HWH & ERS/Kochi & vice versa.
Antyodaya should have 2s+ 2s booking and sl combo as ac class trains r separate
While the train is good, getting frequency increase is a challenge and extension is also a issue given that KCVL, TVC have constraints. 22877 Train shares its path from Salem till ERS with 22207 MAS-TVC AC express. Similarly in return direction it shares common path and timings with ERS-SC special, ERS-HTE exp, Kollam-VSKP weekly between Salem-KPD. In the list of SER trains with highest revenue, SHM-TVC was amongst the top 15 despite being biweekly. Its a good revenue earning sector ( Howrah-Kerala route).
Also if possible it should cover Kerala in daytime. 3 AM is bit odd.
