this train doesnt get WCAM til IGP??

WDM/G 3a pune or kalyan is the usual link...........hauled by diesel end to end though it could have been hauled by WCAMs till MMR
It can run MMR by WCAM but this may lead to:
1. Extra long stoppage @ IGP
2. From IGP, it again will get Electric Loco, which again will need to be changed @ MMR, adding few extra idle time!!
If diesel been provided @ IGP, it will remain idle for 16-17 hours!! Further, entire stretch of this train dont suggest any Loco Shed...

Agree.... So is Devgiri EXpress that gets a Diesel Loco (WDM) for entire journey...
