Vaigai வந்துருச்சு, ஆசையில் ஓடி வந்தேன்

Not able to book tickets on irctc since last few hours. Sometime, the site doesn't open. And sometimes, I am getting this error when I try to proceed with booking after selecting train and class - "Unable to perform transaction - undefined and some number - 55501 (don't remember exactly). Tried through Ixigo and it failed there. How can booking website of a major company be down for long time? This is pathetic.
