Looking to go from MAS to UDZ end of July or first week of August. How do I effectively do this VIA the konkan instead of CR? I would have 3 days in hand.
Chennai Egmore Manguluru leaving at night 2300 arrive at 2000 board TVM Gujarat group of weeklies at 420 arrive Ahmedabad at 640 then take a train or bus to Udaipur. You will see Kerala and konkan in daytime.
Chennai to Bangalore by Mail and from Bangalore to Mangalore by Gomateswara/Karwar Express and from Mangalore to Ahmedabad you can take 20.10 departure weekly trains or if you want to explore Konkan on day time catch 4.20 am weekly trains from Mangalore. So that you can explore Konkan and beautiful Sakhlespur ghat section
I see that tickets on the ERS OKHA express is unavailable from Mangalore to Ahmedabad. Can I book my ticket from Ernakulam but board at Mangalore? Will my seat be filled if I don't board at the actual booked station?
