Better to talk to TTE before boarding....Generally he will tell you to sit in some 3AC coach where there is a vacant berth and later on if any berth is available in 2AC, he will give you....But then depends on the rush
Travelling in such condition after paying 2AC fare doesn't seem like a good idea. Better go to a counter and cancel it
