dere are reasons why til date the cpa or goy cudnt come up as satellite stn of cnb.

CPA is not on ndls hwh line so its money used in its redevelopment wont b used optimally. do u want so ? also future of CPA - MDA line is uncertain (until work on alternate plans start)

similarly GOY has its own challenge. although goy is hardly 2-3km from my home (& very close to my heart). still truth is bitter. even UPMRC didnt consider to have metro stn dere which ideally sud have been there. cent percent.

CPA can be used as Terminal point for Eastern bound trains.
Example:-
1) 12209 /12210 Kanpur Central - Kathgodam - Kanpur Central Garib Rath Express to CPA
2) 22445/22446 Kanpur Central - Amritsar - Kanpur Central Weekly SF Express to CPA.

GOY will take time because NCR is busy in handling Freight trains & Prayagraj.
