Anubad_008^~ 5312 blog postsFrom 30mins late to 11hrs 32mins late running now. Nowadays Every trains running heavy which are coming towards ECoR, SER etc . Those trains are started delay from BSL Division and Delayed also increase in SECR . SECR pure freight friendly zone 😑

But they cannot know Passenger trains are affected due to freight congestion they only see to how many freights are running?
Due to congestion VIP Trains like Duronto Express , Geetanjali , Azad Hind , Mumbai Mail are running late 5hrs+

They are hurting trains that clear the tracks faster, by clogging them along with slow moving freight. So, no one wins.
Railways should be asked to refund super fast charge to all passengers if they can't maintain average speed of 55 km/h. That means, Samarasta should not be late by more than 4 hours, otherwise refund the money.
Railways should also have to pay for anyone missing connections. I have never seen such mismanagement and I've been a train nut (especially HWH-CSTM mainline since I was 3 year old, 47 years ago!
