I think that the train Number 12017/12018 should not reverse its direction at Saharanpur it should take the Tapri bypass.Unnecessary time waste 😔🙄😒

This is a legacy of early 90s. Difficult to remove major junction. This will likely be resolved after Deoband - Roorkee line opens up and a new VB express starts between Delhi - Dehra Dun (NDLS - GZB - MTC - MOZ - DBD - RK - HW - DDN). If tracks support, this may be covered in around 4 hours.
