My phone got stolen from HA1 Coach of 12377 Padatik Express early today.
Well my phone was not very costly nor had much useful data but that is not the issue. Why will things get stolen from train and that too from First AC cum AC 2 Tier Coach?
I have lodged and FIR with NJP GRPS and you know what I found another passenger is there at the GRP post to lodge an FIR for his stolen phone. He was too in 12377 Padatik Express and in B1.

This is debatable however won't dig much,the point is many routes just have 1 train whole 24hrs and being electrified. And never in decades cost of electrification and maintenance of power-stations and other stuff is going to be recovered.
My point : a lot of money and other resources such catenary wires et al would have been saved and that money could have been infused in better Passenger amenities.

To be exact it is actually RPH region.

This shows the sad state of passenger security. Earlier, they targetted UR and 2S/SL passengers
These days, journey even in higher classes of travel seem to be unsafe. This is a very serious issue. Hope IR takes cognizance of the incident and do something on war footing to curb these crimes.
