Why will it ? It was introduced to provide dedicated service to CG & MP - BSP KTE JBP from SER - SRC KGP TATA ROU.
Diverting means entire purpose is lost.
If some other zone needs better they run their own service as Spl.

Yes, but it is evident that the route is unable to pull enough crowd. Converting this into a regular sf was the least ir could've done
