Yes exactly brother, that's because inn baki trains mein kisi bhi passenger ke non-veg carry karne pe koi ban nahi tha. Intermediate passengers used to have non-veg food as well(even I ate omelet several times between NDLS-JRC in Swaraj). It was never forceful in nature, and based on mutual respect.
But iss case mein ye news aa gayi ki non-veg is completely banned because of this so called 'satvik' certificate, which caused an outrage. If I am travelling till Ludhiana, then why I can't eat omelet ? Cow meat is a staple diet in Goa and southern states, but it becomes "mata" in North. Peaceful and harmonious co-existence used to be a proud specialty of our society and Indian culture, but sadly it's not the case anymore. Aajkal har roz choti choti chizo se logo ke "sentiments" hi hurt hote rehte hai. I don't know where we are heading as a society 😓
