theoretically yes. practically almost impossible. railways strictly discourages transfer of tickets. several bloggers have failed to transfer ticket to their family members though rules allows so. reasons given like sister is married, approach zonal head quarters, my id is not activated for this purpose, etc. in my 2 yrs of iri attachment and 9 years of irfca attachment i have just seen a single incidence of successful transfer of ticket being shared at the website. that was by mr.pk venkatramani. he approached er hq~failed, ser hq~failed, recommendation by higher officials~failed, 4th attempt at bangalore~swr hq~ successful after great difficulty. so dont be too optimistic regarding transfer of ticket. i am afraid you may face huge difficulty to say the least.
