Surface_transport 281 blog postsAlthough it was announced doubling & electrification fully completed between Chennai and Mumbai, 32km from Hotgi to Mundhewadi on both sides of Solapur shows doubbling & electrification work is still not over.
That was doubled and electrified as first section. Very long back.
But it is not yet updated here. IndiaRailInfo time-table for any train passing through Solapur shows "Construction- double line electrification" going on from Hotgi to Mudhewadi (both sides of Solapur). I have mentioned this train for example only.
