The reason of good collection from PNP and SNP is that there is not overnight journey train from there to NLDM, UHL route, which is easily available from UMB. I think 00:30 at PNP is not bad because people nowadays use to wake up till 11PM at home also.

Panipat se by road connectivity jyda achi h Himachal ki as delhi se sari buses panipat ho k jati to ..
And at pnp after 10:30 stations gets empty after departure of jammu mail... As no train till midnight from any side on daily basis
