In the case of diversion of train from its route to another route
1. What happens to train stoppages?
2. Is the train liable for overtaking from other trains on that route?

Natural calamities, Rail rokos, track repairs, threat perception are the likely causes for a train to be diverted.
1)It is likely to stop at all major junctions.
2)It can overtake although preference is given to trains which were originally destined to travel on that route.

Some trains get top priority despite being diverted. Eg) TN express overtook SF express when it was diverted due to the telengana issue via Daund,Khandwa route.
