Bhubaneshwar has the worst announcement system till date I have seen at a big station. The announcement of platform is done as late as the train is just a couple of minutes to enter the platform. I observed this for Puri HWH SF, Tapaswini, Hirakud Exp (running horribly late), Hirakhand (2 hr late), on 23rd august 2022. Trains were about to enter the platform and the announcements began. Train is entering the platform & people along with their luggage are still pushing their way through the stairs.
Result:- Whole crowd at once flock to foot over bridges which can definitely be a cause of a stampede anytime.

To be honest, I too didn't like it. Last time haalat aur kharab thi. Vizag se aa raha thha aur Puri HWH SF Spl pakadna thha. Upper class waiting room band thha due to covid aur 2nd class waiting hall ki haalat aisi thi ki wahan baith nahi sakte thhe, toilet ki haalat aur kharab. Hirakhand express ko PF 2 par 15 min pehle lagaya, usme jaake fresh hua main.. City taraf to kabhi nikla nahi but, ha, station lacks amenities.. Bas ek chiz acha thha, Upper class toilet. Saaf suthra, no unauthorised entry, luggage space.
