With the current TT, its difficult to speed up. Train can only be received in Alleppey after 3pm since Allp station has just 3 platforms and there are two other trains from Kerala which occupy platforms. So the arrival in Alleppey is fixed in a way that it is received once one of the train leaves and platform becomes vacant. For speeding up they can delay the departure from DHN and speed up probably between DHN & Chennai.
From Chennai onwards mostly it will remain the same
