Is this happening only in SCR or is it the same across the zones in the country?

In Assam it's changed to IR from NFR. Not sure other places. But perhaps being changed gradually.
Seen in many zones but not continuously but in patches...

Just today I noticed this while coming to Bengaluru from Chennai. The markers within the jurisdiction of SR were SR. But within SWR, it was IR.
